hi guys! i'm peyton and yes, i'm really a doctor--of literature! i grew up handwriting stories dreaming of being a writer one day. so, i got my phd in literature at the age of 27. but no one wanted to read anymore, and i was burning myself up trying to keep up with the world around me. which is how i came to tarot, while teaching gender studies classes in grad school. for a while, i had settled on teaching. but as the university started embracing ai rather than criticizing it, i knew I had to leave academia. so i did. tarot has been the greatest teacher of my 20s, despite my master's and doctorate of philosophy--which are now tucked away in a drawer somewhere under all my arts and crafts. tarot gave me the gift of setting intentions and creating a life in alignment with my values, and now i want to offer that gift to you.
